How do you ask your people to let you out?

I use a bell.

I abuse the bell when I am bored.

Tonight, I am very belly.

Between this and the sound of a very loud Henrietta, n.mom may hit the campari soon.

smooches,

ernest

You have lost your blog title graphic - did you get bored and eat it?

Now the Bell thing is interesting. Our dogs just go and LOOK at the back door. Could I cope with a bell? Judging by your post, maybe not....

Maybe you should teach n.mom to retrieve to releive the boredom? Or how about a buster cube? A kong? Another puppy?

I do the pee dance when I need to go out. My sissy sometimes abuses the pee dance. I never do.

When I am bored I sit and look out the front windows and bark at anything that moves. That is never annoying.

Bully sticks and bones are good for what ails you.

I just walk over to the door... they tried that bell thing on me, but I never liked it much. Because dad used to panic that I'd pee in the house, he still jumps up every time I walk over to the door... he's well trained.

we walk into the door and claw at it and it goes BANG against the frame because the back door is kinda loose.

Ernest,
Mom has never done a Basset before but she did work on the Airedale and Friends quilt and one of the quilters did do a Basset! Check it out:

Mom did me and Charley the Lab on the beach on Nantucket!

I nose the door knob or I stand directly in front of Mommy or Daddy and star them down. Either one usually works. Humans are so easy to train!

hi Earnest,
nothing is gonna work for me... esp after my shortlived escapade, my Jiejie watches me like a hawk, for the wrong reasons... *sigh*
