I have had a very busy basset weekend.

On Saturday, I went to the first of what I believe to be many boring plant sales with my people. I can't understand why anyone would plant anything that does not yield blueberries, blackberries or raspberries or trees.

Trees are good for peeing on the soft fruits are good for eating.

Everything else, meh.

Since it was a benefit for the Arboretum Foundation, I was most welcome. I am their favourite basset as I have been going to their events since I was a tiny lad.

Next week they say it has something to do with Alliances of Perennials, but they promised me a long walk. Cool.

I then jumped up on my Aunt Ruth's mom, which was considered inappropriate behavior and was banished to my kennel.

Then left to walk a long 13.1 miles. I was pretty good.

The next day we went to see her, that was fun! I rode the ferry, we watched them finish and got lots of scritches.

That's just mean.

You need to work on these humans of yours....

It was a half-marathon and she would have been angry with me if I flat basseted during it.

I am going on the furry 5K in June.

I have it on good authority that Jackson has now mastered the "flat Basset" when returning from walks whih he thinks were too short.

He would not confess to this - but his dad (and mine!) told me!

E. You are a BAD influence.
